Recently I had a trip to Matsumoto. I have to say it was organized way bad… And because of that I don’t have so many impressions as usually. I had one full day there, I walked about 15 kilometres, got frozen, enjoyed the mountains view and saw a lot of guinea pigs.

The first place I visited was Matsumoto castle. At the entrance foreign tourists can join a free of charge excursion organized by volunteers. I didn’t use this opportunity.

After that I went to Alps Park. A walk took about an hour and twenty minutes by foot. I like walking very much =) Usually people go there by car. The park provides a lot of different activities such as walking (of course), barbecue and picnic areas, a mini-zoo, swings, etc. But the most interesting for me was the mountains view. It was unbelievably beautiful! Snowy peaks proudly towered over small towns. Inevitably, it makes you think  about eternity.

After thinking about eternity, I continued my walk. In some areas I noticed snow. As I wrote before, there is a mini-zoo in the park.

Most of all I liked guinea pigs. They shared a cage with a rabbit. Guinea pigs literally exploited him! They wanted to play with him all the time!

The next were shabby macaques who looked like in a horror movie. There were even goats in the zoo who bleated plaintively and pooped so much that  I did not take pictures of them.

When I got back to the city I faced with difficulties finding a place for a lunch. Some places were closed, some got horrible reviews.  So I bought an onigiri (a rice ball) and ate it at Starbucks. It was dark already so I went once again to see Matsumoto castle with a backlight.  It was beautiful.

I bought oden for dinner and went to a hotel. Next day in early morning I was on my way to Tokyo.
